Amazon Gear for Photographers

Whether you're shooting in a studio, in a client's home or on-location, here is a list of gear for photographers that I've purchased from Amazon over the last few years that helped my sessions run even more smoothly!

This set includes five different posing pillows of different sizes, and seriously changed the game when it comes to newborn sessions! I use these when I'm posing baby in baskets and also flat surfaces. Not only do these help support babies head, but I also like to put one on either side of baby when I'm posing baby, whether that's in a basket or on a flatter surface.

These lights are inexpensive, but provide great additional light. They're easy to move around, so often times I'll bring these along to newborn photoshoots when I go to a clients home if I'm unsure of what the lighting situation will be like. I also LOVE that the bulbs aren't glass. This is a 2 piece continuous lighting kit. 27” x 20” 40W E27 Socket 6500K Bulbs

If you don't have one of these yet, you NEED it. When I was shooting weddings, this was a HUGE help. I would put my shot list on my notes app and had it conveniently in front of me at all times. I've also used this to capture behind-the-scenes content and I'll also keep a posing app pulled up during some sessions if I need more inspo. It helps tremendously to have it on top of my camera instead of having to constantly pull it out of my pocket.

If you have a place to mount a backdrop on the wall, I recommend this system! You can mount three different backgrounds and easily lower/bring them up. Including two tri-fold hooks, six expand bars, & three chains.

When I'm doing a newborn session in my studio, these are a MUST. I have a DIY frame that I use to drape blankets over to create a background and a space to lay baby and I use several of these to secure the fabric in place! This is a 12-pack of 3.5inch small heavy duty clips for backdrops.

Such a great way to store and organize memory cards!

I started using this within the last year whenever I want to edit on my iPad and it's so convenient to keep in my bag!

These are just a few items that have helped me over the last several years and I will continue to add to the list as I think of more!
