I'm Abby, the girl behind the lens here at Abigail Smith Photography. I'm a freelance photographer capturing newborns, families, portraits, and sometimes intimate weddings. I'm currently located between Mississippi and Louisiana, but travel is always welcomed. 

 

I have been doing photography for over 10 years and like most, photography started out as just a hobby for me. But when I started taking photos for others, I really fell in love with it. 

 

Being able to work with people to capture these special, yet fleeting moments is such a joy. I've done a little bit of everything- from newborns and families to weddings and senior portraits. My main subjects have changed over the last few years, and I've settled on focusing my time on newborns, families, and portraits during this season of life.

 

I opened my own studio in in fall of 2023. It was such a labor of love, and I'm beyond grateful so a space to call my own. I'm always adding to it and making adjustments, but it's becoming the space I've always dreamed of, and is perfect for capturing newborns, small families, and portraits.

In addition to capturing portraits, families, and babies, I photograph sports, home, food, and products too. This is a side of photography that I don't share much on social media, but I love it just the same, so feel free to inquire about those types of photography as well.
